25.10.2022 — Halloween je keltský svátek s historií sahající až do doby před naším letopočtem. Poslední říjnový den byl symbolem hranice mezi létem a zimou, mezi světem živých a mrtvých. Svátek se v keltštině nazýval Samhain.

25.7.2019 — The historical centre of Prague is hosting the international triathlon Ford Challenge Prague for the third year. This sporting event, which will take place on the 27th of July, is unforgettable for the athletes, as well as for fans and whole families.

3.12.2012 — Dnes byly slavnostně zahájeny rozsvícením vánočního stromečku za účasti náměstka primátora Pavla Richtera a starosty městské části Praha 1 Oldřicha Lomeckého již druhé Václavské Vánoce. Podtitulem letošní akce jsou Vánoční trhy pro Pražany. Díky podpoře primátora Bohuslava Svobody, společností PRE a ELTODO, se letos rozsvítí horní část Václavského náměstí a to nejen tradičním vánočním stromečkem, ale i krásnou sváteční světelnou výzdobou stromů, které lemují náměstí.

26.10.2020 — Na pražském Staroměstském náměstí byla zahájena unikátní streetová výstava Bílá hora 1620 - Osudový mezník našich dějin. Na výstavních panelech najdou návštěvníci až do 19. listopadu ucelený přehled historických souvislostí spojených s touto významnou událostí. Zároveň byla výstava spuštěna i v online podobě na www.bilahora1620.cz. Partnerem výstavy společně s hlavním městem Prahou je Univerzita Karlova.

21.6.2008 — Prague is one of the most important hubs of railway transport in the Czech Republic for long-distance journeys and for suburban transport. Recent investments in this ecological means of transport aim to enhance its influence within the city and suburban public transport.

31.10.2020 — 'Dvě tváře Prahy', meaning Two Faces of Prague, is a competition in which the participating photographers capture either the positive or the negative aspects of Prague. An outdoor exhibition of 23 winning photographs on large panels can be seen until the 5th of November in the pedestrian zone of Na Příkopě Street. The theme of 'Dvě tváře Prahy 2020' was Wenceslas Square and the surrounding area, and all types of photographers took part: adults, young people, children, keen amateurs and professionals. A total of 720 images were sent to the competition, the most in its eleven-year history.

30.7.2019 — From the end of September, a campaign is taking place in the streets of Prague that will focus on the rules and regulations tourists need to follow in the Czech capital. The campaign is organised by Prague City Tourism in cooperation with the Night Mayor Jan Štern. It will focus on the behaviour of tourists in the most problematic parts of the town. Next year, it will be followed up by a long-term campaign that will specifically target tourists, thanks to the results of the STEM / MARK agency's survey on the behaviour of tourists in Prague at night.

16.12.2020 — Příspěvková organizace hlavního města Centrum sociálních služeb Praha dnes zveřejnila Analýzu situace bezdomovectví v Praze. Analýza přináší informace o počtech, potřebách a struktuře osob bez domova na území hlavního města. Stane se jedním ze zdrojů pro přípravu nové strategie, která městu pomůže efektivně ukončovat bezdomovectví.
