28.8.2017 — Hlavní město Praha podporuje rozvoj digitálního vzdělávání na středních školách, které zřizuje. Zavádění digitálních technologií do škol je pro metropoli jednou z hlavních priorit. Dnes, 28. srpna 2017, byl učiněn další krok. Hlavní město Praha zastoupené radní Irenou Ropkovou, Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy reprezentované náměstkem ministra školství Jaroslavem Fidrmucem a za Czech ICT Alliance Michal Zálešák podepsali Memorandum o spolupráci.

1.4.2019 — In April, 'Mladí Ladí Jazz', the annual International Youth Jazz Festival in Prague, will bring seven evenings of concerts where world renowned stars will be performing, workshops and, of course, the traditional youth competition 'Jazzfruit'. The festival is looking for talents in contemporary jazz and the experimental scene from the Czech Republic and abroad, and introduce them to the public. Its main goal is to bring the attention of a young audience back to jazz music and restore traditions of this music in the Czech Republic.

Aerobics and fitness are not as popular as adrenaline-filled sports. However, aerial acrobatics has recently experienced a great boom. And it's not just about the competition. Like any sport, aerial dancing can be practiced for fun.

Support Czech culture by buying ‘Nothing’ tickets

7.4.2020 — A nationwide project to support theatres, concert halls, clubs and artists has been launched. 'NIC' tickets have been on sale since the 1st of April. 'Nic' means 'nothing' in Czech and that is the aim of this project - as cultural events cannot take place, cultural institutions and artists need your support. According to Hana Třeštíková, Prague City Councillor for Culture, Czech people are inventive, so instead of simply asking for donations, they came up with a plan to sell tickets for 'non-existing' cultural events, which will (not) take place on the 1st of May.
