15.8.2019 — The padel tournament, International Padel Experience by Madison, will take place in Prague for the first time from the 16th to the 18th of August.

5.7.2020 — Food Truck Park is a street food event which takes place every Sunday until the end of October at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. A variety of gastronomic specialties from all over the world will be on offer. You will find it near the children's playground on the newly renovated 'Bruselská Cesta' ('Brussels Road').

11.9.2020 — Every year, usually in early autumn, the doors of the most interesting monuments, buildings and other spaces of interest, many of which are normally inaccessible, open to the public as part of the European Heritage Days. Between the 12th and the 20th of September, visitors can see most of them for free.

16.12.2019 — The National Gallery has been running an exhibition on mediaeval and early Renaissance art in the Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia in the Old Town of Prague since November. On the 18th of December, the National Gallery is organising Christmas guided tours to selected Christmas-themed panel paintings and 14thand 15th century sculptures, with themes such as Christ's childhood, the Adoration of the Magi, and Madonna with Child, among others.

19.2.2020 — On the 20th of February, Prague City Gallery will organise another of the accompanying programs to the exhibition 'Devětsil 1920 - 1931' - a screening of 'Kid', the historical Charlie Chaplin's movie.

3.6.2019 — Tanec Praha, the international festival of contemporary dance and movement theatre in Prague, is one of the biggest events in the Czech cultural calendar.

29.9.2019 — The contemporary circus ensemble Cirk La Putyka is celebrating its 10th anniversary. As part of the celebrations, they decided to return with three of their successful productions to their original venues: La Fabrika, Archa Theatre and the New Stage of the National Theatre's New Stage in October and November.

9.4.2019 — Bulgarian filmmakers will once again bring their latest feature films and documentaries to the Czech metropolis.

24.1.2019 — On Friday, the 1st of February 2019, schoolchildren in the Czech Republic will enjoy a school break. As in previous years, children will participate in project Ledová Praha by visiting monuments, museums and other centres of heritage in Prague. Over the long weekend from the 1st to the 3rd of February, families and groups of children will collect their Ledová karta, a free card that grants free or reduced admission to many museums and galleries in Prague, (such as the National Museum, the Jewish Museum in Prague and the Czech Police Museum) and other places of interest (for example, Prague Castle, Strahov Library and Loreta Praha). This year, about thirty historical and cultural centres of heritage are taking part.

30.5.2020 — As part of the fourth wave of the release of coronavirus measures, both natural and artificial swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) are allowed to open. This also applies to Strahov swimming pool and Šutka water park, which both opened to visitors after a few months of closure on the 25th of May.
