2.12.2020 — Komise pro udělování grantů hl. m. Prahy v oblasti kultury a umění složená z expertů připravila návrh rozdělení grantové podpory pro rok 2021. Do grantového řízení bylo zasláno celkem 787 žádostí o grant, z toho 60 o víceletý a 727 o jednoletý. Navrženo k podpoře bylo 525 projektů. Na rok 2021 se navrhuje rozdělit mezi žadatele 330 milionů korun, z toho 102 milionů korun na jednoleté projekty a 228 milionů korun na víceleté projekty. Návrh komise nyní projedná Výbor pro kulturu Zastupitelstva hl. m. Prahy a následně Rada hl. m. Prahy.

5.10.2012 — Hlavní město Praha bude letos již tradičním účastníkem EXPO REAL 2012, mezinárodního odborného veletrhu komerčních nemovitostí a investic, který se koná v Mnichově od 8. do 10. října. Praha zde návštěvníky i potenciální investory seznámí se svými nejvýznamnějšími městskými projekty.

21.7.2020 — TOO HOT by Eva Jaroňová is the first post-pandemic exhibition in the MeetFactory gallery in Smíchov. Eva Riebová, the Kostka Gallery curator, had to cancel the Indian artist Afrah Shafiq's exhibition due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, she was given the opportunity to seek out a Czech artist and discovered Eva Jaroňová, who participated in the Kostka Gallery's open call in the past.

4.10.2019 — The 6th annual Be2Can film festival will take place in Prague from the 2nd to the 8th of October. The festival will feature award winning films from the three most prestigious film festivals: the Berlin International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival, along with many other excellent movies.

30.6.2019 — As part of its hundredth anniversary celebrations, the National Technical Museum is offering reductions on admission prices on Thursday, the 5th of July. The museum is the largest Czech institution that specialises in technical collections, and it was founded on the 5th of July 1908 as the Technical Museum of the Bohemian Kingdom. Currently, its collections are in 14 permanent exhibitions and a number of temporary exhibitions.

14.6.2020 — 'Hudební vycházky' (Music Walks) are outdoor classical music concerts which take place in Prague Zoo in front of Gočár's Houses. After fourteen successful years, the event has become a traditional part of summer at the zoo. Not only animal lovers, but also classical music fans, will be at the zoo every Sunday until the beginning of October. The open-air concerts will take place once again in front of Gočár's Houses at the top of the zoo for two hours on Sundays. More and more music lovers seek out the event for its informal setting and quality music.

17.7.2020 — The sixth annual film festival Das Sommerkino screens films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland during the summer holiday season. The screenings take place every Tuesday and Thursday in July, and every Monday and Wednesday in August. Das Sommerkino offers the best recent German language films with free admission. The films on the festival's programme were mostly successful at previous years of Das Filmfest, and won a number of prestigious international awards. The films which deal with current topics, insights into the recent past, as well as historical films will please cinema goers in Prague. Those who appreciate fine arts and architecture will also enjoy this year's programme. A total of 18 films will be screened, which will be a kind of preparation for the traditional autumn film festival Das Filmfest.

The Prague Writer's Festival will take place between the 7th and the 11th of October in the Convent of St. Agnes and Rock Café this year.

8.6.2023 — V sobotu 10. června 2023 se v Praze uskuteční 3. ročník cyklistického závodu L'Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France, který budou provázet dopravní opatření na komunikacích v Praze 5, 6 a 17.

3.10.2011 — Praha se již podeváté zúčastní mezinárodního veletrhu komerčních nemovitostí a investic EXPO REAL 2011 v Mnichově. Ten se bude konat ve dnech 4. – 6. 10. 2011. Důležitost plánované trasy metra D, a s tím související významný růstový potenciál rozvojových a transformačních ploch v jejím okolí, bude hlavním tématem na již tradiční recepci „Meeting Prague“. Setkání se zástupci hlavního města, pod záštitou primátora Bohuslava Svobody, se bude konat 5. 10. od 14 hodin. Své projekty představí také letošní spoluvystavovatelé hl. m. Prahy, developerské společnosti CENTRAL GROUP, HOCHTIEF DEVELOPMENT CZECH REPUBLIC a UNIBAIL-RODAMCO a vedlejší partner ARCH DESIGN. 30.9.2010 — V září 2009 byla otevřena osmá informační kancelář, která bude sloužit občanům Prahy 4. Nachází se ve Štúrově 1284 v Krči. V kanceláři jsou v pracovní dny občanům k dispozici dvě zaměstnankyně, které podávají veškeré informace týkající se městské části Praha 4. Centrum také slouží jako podatelna, k vydávání formulářů a žádostí, k ověřování pravosti podpisů a listin nebo také k vybírání poplatků za psy. Kromě toho je zde vyzvednout radniční časopis Tučňák nebo třeba i ekologické sáčky na psí exkrementy, Czech point.
